FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If we’re unable able to book your fishing trip because of bad weather, you can choose to have your deposit refunded, or it can be transferred to a later available date.

Yes, you need to purchase a fishing license prior to your trip. A fishing license can be purchased at Meijer, Walmart, and most local bait shops.

You’ll want to bring your own food and drink for the trip, along with a cooler for you to take home your fish fillets. Additionally, you’ll want to bring soft sole shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and/or a hat. You may also want to bring pants and a sweatshirt, as it can be cold out on the lake.

As fishing superstitions go, bananas are considered bad luck. So we recommend no bananas, banana nut bread or any food affiliated with bananas, so that we don’t have a bad fishing day.

Trips will generally run from 6:30 am and return to the dock by 11:30 am. It is important for all clients to show up ready to go at 6 am, so that we do not miss the bridge. Custom times and longer trips can be booked through the captain.

Yes. Following the charter, we will personally clean and bag your fish for you. Be sure to bring a cooler to keep your fish fillets fresh. Ask your captain for his secret recipes.

No. All fishing and safety equipment is provided with each fishing charter.
